Hi! I'm Maryclare.
A brief about-me: I'm currently a senior BFA Theatre, emphasis Theatre Studies student at Texas Christian University. Most recently, you could find me on set of The Chosen (TV show) filming for Season 5, or under the Dome of Casa Mañana Theatre either working in arts administration or in rehearsals! I just closed my directorial debut this past October, The Effects of Gamma Rays on Man-In-The Moon Marigolds at Theatre TCU.
I love to spend any rare free time volunteering for charities. In my professional life, I hope to create and share stories that are not only compelling, but tell the world the importance of love and empathy. My work is fueled by passion and a desire to contribute positively. I approach problem-solving with a unique perspective, always striving to make the world a better place. Rather than complaining about challenges, I embrace them as opportunities to find solutions. Whether it's learning new skills, such as film and audio editing, a new performance technique, graphic design, or utilizing a new technology, I dive in headfirst.
In leadership positions, I strive to bring out the best in every person I work with. By recognizing each individual's unique talents, I always work towards fostering an environment where everyone can shine and contribute their best work. I work to make a positive impact beyond the realm of just arts and entertainment. Two charities that hold special places in my heart are Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times (a summer camp for children with cancer and their siblings) and Creative Kids Playhouse Children's Theatre of Orange County, having grown up attending year-round programming at both organizations. As a childhood cancer survivor myself, I draw inspiration from these experiences, shaping my commitment to lead with love and provide opportunities for others to showcase their talents.
